This page explains what information HealthyCactus collects, why, and what we don’t collect. HealthyCactus is published by the Arizona Association of Chiropractic (AAC). In this policy, “we” means AAC.
What happens to my quiz answers?
Your answers are never sent. They stay in your browser’s memory while you use a check, and they are gone when you close or leave the page.
- We don’t store your answers, and nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
- Your answers and results are not put in the page address.
- If you start a check on the home page and continue on the quiz page, your browser passes your first answers along using its own short-term storage. They are deleted as soon as the quiz page reads them.
- There is no option to email your results.
What does the newsletter collect?
If you sign up for the HealthyCactus newsletter, we keep:
- your email address;
- when you signed up and when you confirmed, the page you signed up on, and the exact consent wording you agreed to;
- a scrambled code made from your internet (IP) address, never the address itself. It is kept with those dates as the record of your consent, and it limits how many sign-ups one connection can make in a day.
We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t keep the address of the page beyond its path.
You will get an email asking you to confirm before you are added. If you don’t confirm within 30 days, your address and its record are deleted. The confirmation email has no tracking pixels and no tracked links.
To keep spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that you are a person. It loads only when you start to fill in the form. Cloudflare looks at basic information about your browser to run it.
Who handles it for us:
- Cloudflare runs this website and stores the sign-ups.
- Resend sends the confirmation email.
- When the newsletter starts, it will be sent through Kit, an email service. Kit may count opens of the newsletter.
We keep your details until you unsubscribe. After that, your address is kept only as the record that you unsubscribed, so you aren’t emailed again. Every email has a link to unsubscribe at any time, in one step. To have your details deleted completely, email the address at the end of this page.
What does analytics collect?
The live site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It may collect:
- the pages you visit and how long you stay;
- general information about your device and browser;
- your approximate location, such as your city, worked out from your internet address;
- how you arrived, such as from a search engine.
It also counts a few actions, such as starting or finishing a check, downloading a guide as a PDF, or clicking Find a chiropractor.
Analytics does not receive your quiz answers, your results, what you type in the search box, or the location you search for. We remove extra details from page addresses before they are sent. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Do you sell my information?
No. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising. HealthyCactus has no ads.
What about links to other sites?
Find a chiropractor may take you to AAC’s member search, and our guides link to studies and health agencies. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Is HealthyCactus for children?
HealthyCactus is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How do I contact you about privacy?
Email admin@azchiropractic.org or call (480) 498-4777. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
